RAY OF LIGHT OVER LAKE COMO: 60" x 40" White Matte Metal w/ Floating Gold Frame

Captured during the Summer of 2023 while exploring Lake Como with his family, Ray of Light Over Lake Como emerged from an afternoon on the water where the landscape suddenly transformed into something almost surreal. As the boat moved across the lake toward sunset, massive rays of light began cutting through the clouds and stretching across the sky with extraordinary scale and intensity.

The atmosphere carried the feeling of a Michelangelo painting suspended in motion, as though the sky itself had been carefully constructed by hand yet remained completely alive and untamed at the same time. The longer the light pushed through the clouds, the more the scene felt almost spiritual, as though angels could emerge from behind the clouds and descend onto the lake below.

Captured with a Leica DSLR and M Frame lens, the image emphasizes depth, contrast, and the dramatic movement of light throughout the composition. Printed in large format at 60" x 40" on white matte metal with a floating gold frame, the piece reveals extraordinary texture and detail up close, including golden edges illuminated throughout the clouds that give the landscape an almost painted quality while remaining completely natural.
